The Environmental Data Group is an independent, privately funded organization committed to comprehensive research of local water supplies. Based in Columbia, SC with operations in Upstate SC and eastern NC, our investigations focus on identifying hazards stemming from chemicals, inorganic minerals and other contaminants, as well as evaluating water processing procedures at municipal levels for chemical content and other relevant issues. We do not engage in manufacturing or sales; our sole purpose is to provide residents with critical awareness regarding potential hazards in their residential water supply and to facilitate the discovery of solutions. Furthermore, we examine the detrimental effects of plastics on the environment and human health.
To support community learning and ensure informed decision-making, we facilitate complimentary in-home water testing through our sponsored initiatives: SCWATCH (South Carolina) and DriNC (North Carolina). We strongly encourage residents to utilize these essential services, as understanding your water quality is paramount! Learning about what’s in your water has never been as important as it is today!
